€7,500 each
Two panels of brushed stainless steel, pierced alternately with rounded rectangles and circles. The cut is clean, the pattern regular from edge to edge. Standing on the floor, alone or facing each other, they divide a space without closing it, and act as shelving without a case.
The screen belongs to the common repertoire of French architecture of the 1950s and 1960s, when perforated sheet metal entered the domestic vocabulary: Mathieu Matégot named his Rigitulle in 1952.
Both partition and bookcase, this screen can stand alone or in a facing pair. Very good condition.
